what did I do today?

I spent half the morning in the classroom listening to a sound and video workshop, which was interesting but he was using premier pro and I already knew how to use most features on it. I then went down to printmaking to do my Riso printing as I wanted to print my passports A3 on the riso. After I did my riso, just the black ink, I went back upstairs and spoke to Aliki about how I could present my work on Tuesday for the crit. she gave me the idea to use bull dog clips, and the reason I liked this idea was because passports are legal documents and I bull dog clips associate with the police and formal information.

why did I want to use riso?
because of how it physically prints the work I create onto a piece of paper instead of laser printing it like a normal printer would. It also gives a more saturated version of your image which I really like. passports are known for being stamped when you enter a new country or continent and I associate the riso with a very physical way of printing my images just like a stamp on a passport.
